THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

There are seasons when darkness feels overwhelming—when the clouds gather so heavily that clarity fades and the path forward becomes difficult to see. Stormbreak was created from that tension: the space between fear and faith, uncertainty and trust.

Dense, layered clouds stretch across a field of deep blue, carrying the weight and movement of an approaching storm. Yet from within the darkness, golden light suddenly breaks through—radiant, expansive, and impossible to contain.

Stormbreak is about holding steady in the midst of chaos. It is the choice to anchor ourselves to what we know to be true even when our circumstances make that truth difficult to see. The storm is real. The darkness is real. But neither means that the light has disappeared.

Sometimes hope is simply trusting that the light is still there—even before we can see it.

The Fall Print Shop is a limited seasonal offering of fine art prints from Sarah Zobrist’s original work. Each print is professionally produced on archival fine art paper and individually signed before leaving the studio.
